David Murdoch

Dave is a co-founder of Lind Capital Partners. With an extensive background in commercial real-estate finance, Dave built the LCP credit process to go beyond “traditional” municipal credit analysis to identify unique investment opportunities. He currently serves as Senior Advisor to the firm, where his knowledge and experience provide an invaluable resource.

In the wake of the Great Financial Crisis, Dave recognized the opportunity created by the dislocation in the municipal market and joined Bob in founding LCP. Dave spent the prior 25+ years in taxable fixed income and was one of the early pioneers in the CMBS market. Over his career, he held various roles focusing on credit analysis, asset valuation and loan origination/structuring with Nomura Securities and Greenwich Capital.

Dave received a BA in Economics from Tufts University and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago. When not in Chicago or Jackson Hole, Dave and his wife enjoy traveling, particularly to visit their four grown children living across the country. A recent adventure took his entire family on an African safari.
